Waves crash against the broken ships of old while torn and tattered sails whip around with the air, embracing the long forgotten memory of pirates and cut throats, for many have found the Isles of Elmoria, but even more have disappeared because of it.
Monsters from the very depths of the earth seek to strike out and eliminate the flora and fauna that have taken root on the Isles surface. Caves cut from the very earth itself hold treasures beyond gold and diamonds. For the knowledge of old, lost deep within the earth, seeks to break free once more.
Ancient structures and dangerous dungeons await the mighty adventurer. Bold and brave, you have been chosen to step forth from the masses and attempt to stop the evil that is taking hold of Elmoria

You awake within a small room. The smell of death hangs heavy in the air, and you have no idea how you stepped forth into this predicament. A voice whispers softly within your ear, almost as if they’re in your very mind.
“We’ve been waiting for you, young one.”…“An adventurer so bold as to take forth arms and fight that which may destroy you.”…“We are the Ancients, and though we have long since past from this earth, our hold on this Island remains steadfast.”

A calming force sweeps over you. A grip of courage wraps around your soul. The presence of the Ancients still lingers in this place.

- We are a realistic role playing server
- We have a variety of mods and plugins that enhance the gameplay of Minecraft
- Survival is our main focus with small bits of RPG added

- We use a custom texture pack with Ovo’s Rustic as the foundation, and the Items list are from Dokucraft. A link will be provided once you’re accepted into the server.
- This texture pack is for the server, please do not redistribute it as your own work.
Listed below are the rules and obligations regarding our server.
- Must be active and maintain your presence within the server.
- You must be 17 years of age or older in order to join.
- Do not steal anything that doesn’t belong to you.
- Keep to the central theme of the server. (No pixel art, unrealistic buildings, etc)
- If you have Achluophobia, then this server is too dark for you.
- Be respectful and friendly to your fellow members.
- Absolutely no griefing.
- Having a role-playing character isn’t required.
- Having a desire to understand the lore and discuss it.
- Ventrilo is required in order to join our server. This is a free program.
- If a structure (A key lore location or dungeon) was there before you, don’t try to mess with it.

RPG ADMIN NOTE *PLEASE READ*
Hi there guys, I’m Lohugo, one of the lead content developers for VCG’s Isles of Elmoria RPG server. It’s my duty to bring you the quests, dungeons, and lore that surround the mystery of IoE. As such, I’ve decided to do things a little differently than most RPG servers on Minecraft. My plan is to release sections of the island in what is known as “expansions”. By gating the release of content, it allows the player to feel like they’re actually taking part in the story, and not just running through the course months after its release. It also allows the team and myself to bring content that is engaging and immersive to the players on the server. We make sure an area is fit for release before going out and exposing it to the masses. With that said, we ask that you stay within the regulated expansion zones. Please don’t leave them; the content is there for you to experience, and heading off to explore a closed area will only result in disappointment, as well as a potential ban.
